Shipping policy

At Bare Tallow Co., we take pride in crafting small-batch, handcrafted products that are made with care. Because of this process, shipping times may vary slightly, but we are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how and when orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 2–3 business days after they are placed, excluding weekends and holidays.
  • During peak seasons, new product launches, or high-demand periods, processing times may take longer. We will notify you by email if we anticipate a significant delay.
  • Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

Shipping Rates & Methods

We offer the following shipping options at checkout:

  • Standard Shipping (3–7 business days): Rates are calculated at checkout based on your order weight, size, and destination.
  • Expedited Shipping (2–3 business days): Available for an additional cost.

Please note that shipping times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or unforeseen circumstances outside our control.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@baretallow.co within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
  • We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery to the shipping address provided. If this occurs, please file a claim directly with the carrier. However, we will do our best to assist you in tracking the package and providing available documentation.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for delayed, misdelivered, or lost shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses entered at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to reship your package.

International Shipping

  • At this time, we only ship within the United States.
  • We are working on expanding shipping options to international customers in the future. Stay tuned for updates.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement if they have not yet been processed or shipped. Once an order is processed, it cannot be canceled and will instead fall under our Return & Refund Policy.
