What Is Tallow?

Our tallow is grass-fed, grass-finished, and sourced locally.

Tallow Hydrates Better Than Any Product

Tallow absorbs like your own skin oils because it mirrors the natural structure of your skin. It sinks in deeply, quickly, and without irritation. It works with your skin instead of sitting on top of it.

But not all tallow is created equal. Grass fed and grass finished is what makes the real difference. The last ninety days of a cow’s life matter. Most cattle are grain finished at the end, which changes the fat completely. When cattle stay on grass all the way through, the fat stays clean, rich, and nutrient dense. That is why I only use grass fed and finished tallow. If it is going on your skin, it should come from the purest source possible.

Grass finished tallow is naturally high in CLA, also known as conjugated linoleic acid. CLA is a powerful fatty acid that helps calm irritation, support the skin barrier, and keep moisture where it belongs. It is one of the biggest reasons tallow works so well on sensitive, reactive, or eczema-prone skin. You can feel that difference the moment you put it on.

Pure, nutrient dense, skin compatible moisture. That is what makes tallow special. And it is why I have never looked back.

Why Tallow Works: Vitamins and Essential Fatty Acids

Vitamin A

Supports healthy skin renewal and gentle cell turnover without irritation.

Vitamin D

Helps repair the skin barrier and keeps skin resilient when it is stressed or reactive.

Vitamin E

A natural antioxidant that soothes dryness and supports overall moisture balance.

Vitamin K

Helps calm visible redness and supports an even, healthy-looking skin tone.

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)

One of the biggest benefits of grass-finished tallow. CLA helps calm irritation, strengthens the barrier, and locks in moisture. Grass-finished cattle produce significantly higher CLA levels because their fat profile stays clean, stable, and nutrient-dense.

Why Grass Finished Matters

If it is going on your skin, the source matters. Grass finished tallow has deeper nutrients, more CLA, and none of the grain-fed compromise. It is simply better for your skin.
